The Car Guide had this to say: “ The Z earns full marks for engine punch and flexibility, traction and grip, Pin-sharp steering, rapid and precise gear shift”. The 3.5 litre engine is highly tuned and sounds great, throttle response is instantaneous, and completely unlike turbocharged engines. Selecting the power driving mode the gear changes are very quick and provide a real kick when up shifting.
The Z is low, really hugs the road and has superb handling. It is fun to hussle it along the winding back roads in New Zealand, and with 224 KW it can really move. A true two seater, the leather seats are heated for cold evening or in winter, it has auto headlights and a reversing camera, but best of all it is a genuine sports car.
